Just a few examples of print jobs done over the years for various magazines, newspapers, agencies, and small clients. Graphic Design work including but not exclusively Magazine Cover Art, Design/Layout, Advertisements, Photo Retouching, Flyers/Brochures, Packaging Design, In-Store Promotions, Bar/Restaurant Point-of-Sale Promotions, CD Designs, Posters and Corporate Branding. Lots of photo manipulation in this one, as you can see seamless meld of two women's faces to get desired expression then enlarged eyes lips and neck to give a more sensual appeal without coquetting it up too much. Added more hair blowing in cool breeze feel. Created mint chocolate lips and few other tricks. CoralDraw VectorMagic Fontographer and Quark.

Silhouetted each player individually and changed each jersey color white. Also added color to B&W images to create seamless hi-def color along with original background and copy layout. Indesign & Photoshop.

Commissioned work for agency. I digitally created the overblown out Buccaneer Logo and background. All the players were individually silhouetted. All the white jerseys were originally red, changed them to white to add more contrast to entire layout. Indesign Illustrator and Photoshop used.

2 Full page Auto ads client requested for young and older audiences. All artwork was created in illustrator, only the car photos and logos provided. First version emulated their hamster marketing plan of time, 2nd simple black luxury. Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign.

Client wanted to change ad, below is what the Record created and was running for her, above is what I changed it to. She wanted something more elegant and emphasized her, so I silhouetted her image and branded her name as a piece of art/logo and relayed out and made it cleaner, more monochromatic with CB's colors. Quark, Photoshop, & Illustrator.

Full page Real Estate emphasizing the luxury. I Layed it out non-symetrical to draw eye into the home and add interest to it. Photoshop and Quark.

Complete resize/layout/design for a symmetrical agent awards ad. Some subtle art changes most noticably with background art that I created in Photoshop, mostly just clean and professional look. Photoshop, Quark.

Full page ad the client wanted using their postcard mailers as basis for a full page ad. Kept the feel of their postcards so it looked like the same advertiser without looking cut and paste. Photoshop, Illustrator, Quark.

Client wanted a pink ad, but ugh, so we compromised and faded the pink border into a piece of stock art that had to be photo manipulated to fit the way they wanted. They also wanted the word February to include a heart as a letter which had to be manipulated in Illustrator. Photoshop, Illustrator, Quark..

Instore advert card. Stock photo had to be manipulated to fit card. Logo had to be reworked slightly as well to overlay art. Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign.

Various restaurants and fast food joints I worked on. Some franchise, some family owned, some big, some small, but all with the same care and professionalism and either keeping the corporate look or totally redesigned artistically! Indesign/quark.

I am constantly asked, "Why do I need a graphic designer?" and "Whats the difference between all graphic designers"...without sounding arrogant, ALOT! These are just 2 examples of ads the "Record" News Art Department had no problem running, and what I did with them. Sure everyone and their mother has word or photoshop, but the message and the results are what is important. . Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign and Quark.

Various Salon ads, Posh campaign that ran for a few months, the 7hair was taking from napkin sketch, I believe no 7 hair color is brown so I used monochromatic scheme and had to manipulate stock image, model was missing top of head and added fuller hair, the Allur artwork emphasied some of their services. Photoshop, Illustrator Quark and Indesign.

Simple color correction, or is it that simple? Taking this famous WWII Photo and colorizing it has been done before but taking the almost entirely blacked out sailor's uniform and turning it white, well that's another matter. Shadows and background were adjusted slightly to emphasize the kiss more. (Why do I think Popeye and Olive Oyl whenever I see this photo?) Photoshop.
